Implant dentistry
Dr. Ellis’s hundreds of continuing education hours in the past eight years include a nine-month American Academy of Implant Dentistry course at Augusta University. This training is important; other dentists in our area may only offer a portion of the phases of implant treatment required to rebuild your tooth (or teeth). Thanks to his commitment to the latest dental techniques and technologies, Dr. Ellis is qualified to offer every step of implant treatment. Notably, he precisely, safely, and predictably places the implant in the jaw. In the succeeding months, the implant joins the surrounding bone. It becomes a part of your jaw. In turn, it functions as a tooth root to stabilize the overlying restorations. Implants may be used to support a single tooth, several teeth (as part of a partial denture), or an entire arch of upper and lower teeth as a complete denture. Other dentists would have to refer you to a specialist, such as an oral surgeon or prosthodontist, for the implant’s actual placement. This process can be costly and inconvenient.
Cosmetic dentistry
Dr. Hubbard is one of only 84 dentists worldwide (and one of only two in North Carolina) to achieve the distinction of American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry accredited fellow status. We are honored to have his expertise in smile aesthetics. And he looks forward to redesigning or rebuilding you or a family member’s smile with some of the following treatments, which represent a partial list of our cosmetic services:
